Wereham open Gardens is on Sunday 16th from 12pm to 5.30pm. Tickets and directions for the gardens will be available from the church on the day.

As usual there will be our wonderful lunches and afternoon tea and cakes which will be served in our new village hall.

There will also be our plant, craft and tombola stall, along with our usual gardening raffle prizes. Donations of plants, seedlings and items for our tombola would be gratefully received. Any items that need to be picked up please contact Doreen Rolphe on 01366 500218.

It is not too late to enter your own garden, anyone considering and perhaps not sure please contact Greg Baddock for a chat on 01366 50023.

We have a lovely collection of gardens for everyone to enjoy and we would really appreciate your support as all monies received go towards the up keep of our centrally located historic church.

CRAFT GROUP A reminder to you all that we have our annual CRAFT FAIR in the village hall on June 1st, 10am until 4pm. We have a good selection of crafters for you all to enjoy and hopefully purchase that unusual present / gift. There will be the old favourites a raffle and a cake stall. The cafe will be serving freshly made filled rolls with the choice of 4 fillings, cheese, egg, tuna or ham and of course plenty of tea and coffee. Ice creams or lollypops. New members always welcome especially if you do a craft other than knitting or sewing. Please contact Rosemary on 01366 501330, 07749240606, or e-mail rosemary.pease@btinternet.com.

SHORT MAT BOWLS We have now gone back to the new permanent time of 7pm until 9pm every Thursday evening. We are a small friendly group who have lots of fun. Tea and coffee with biscuits are served during the evening, and a birthday cake is made for whoever has a birthday. Please contact Philip on 01366 501330, 07759033492, e-mail rosemary.pease@btinternet.com.

CAR BOOT AND CAFE The car boot and cafe continue to thrive. We have increased our range of foods served in the cafe and we now do Toasted Tea Cakes with butter, or 2 slices of Toast with butter and the option of Jam, as well as all the old favourites. The fifty fifty raffle is very popular with Judith Taylor being our March winner of £29.00. For details please contact Philip on 01366 501330, 07759033492, e-mail rosemary.pease@btinternet.com.
