VILLAGE LIAISON MINUTES

Wednesday 22nd April 2015

Present: Mrs. S Linton Mr. R Thompson Ms K Penn (Borough Council) Mr. A Fitzsimons-McKellar (Environment Agency) Mr. Dick Jacklin (2Agriculture Stoke Ferry) Mr. David Melladay (2 Agriculture Stoke Ferry)

1. Apologies. Mrs. Daphne Clements (Parish Council) 2. Minutes of the previous meeting (22nd April 2015) and matters arising

The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed

3. KLWNBC

It was again requested to site the new dust monitor on Self’s field and Mr. Jacklin stated that he would pass on the request. There was then further discussions as to whether there could be a better position ( eg the old graveyard ) and Ms Penn stated that the borough council would explore other options.

5. Complaints received since the last meeting

There have been no complaints received following the previous meeting.

6. Noise

A resident of Buckenham Drive complained of noise in the afternoon of 22/1/16 which when investigated was found to be a hanger bearing on the whole wheat system which was immediately dealt with.

7. Odour Dust & Particulates

No complaints 8. Transport

No complaints have been received

9. Any other Business

Mr. FitzSimons-McKellar mentioned that the site has recently changed the boilers to LPG gas which was likely to reduce emissions.
