VILLAGE LIAISON MINUTES

Wednesday 23rd October 2013

Present:

1.  Apologies

Mr. Lionel Halls. Mr. Ray Thompson. Mrs. Sue Linton. Mrs. Judith Taylor

2.   Minutes of the previous meeting (24th July 2013) and matters arising

The minutes of the previous meeting were agreed.

3.   There had been no further updates from KLWNBC relating to the air monitoring.

4.  Complaints received since the last meeting.

1 complaint had been received since the previous meeting.

5.   Noise

1 complaint had been received regards excessive noise from a mineral delivery vehicle on the 20th August 2013 at 18.00. As a result mineral deliveries are scheduled to complete unloading by 17.00

6.  Odour Dust & Particulates

No complaints

7.   Transport.

No complaints received. A letter was received from the Parish Council relating to the raised area of Furlong Road adjacent to Furlong Store the company was asked to remind drivers to lock internal partition doors to try and reduce the noise produced when driving over this raised area.

8.  Buildings.

Members of the committee asked if the company was aware of any further developments on the proposed changes to the Dukes Head & Millers Arms, Mr. White stated that they were not aware of any.

9.  Any other Business

Mr. White stated that a new environmental officer Alasdair Fitzsimons-McKellar is now the regulatory officer for the feed mill and he will attend Liaison meetings where possible.

No other business was noted.
