The latest deliberations from West Fereham Parish Council

Held on Thursday 14th October 2004

in the Village Hall at 8.00 p.m.

Present: Mr. E. Drew - Chairman, Mrs. Berry, Mrs. Cann, Mrs. Fisher, Miss Richardson, M. Grief and 2 members of the public.

Apologies: None

Minutes: Miss Richardson proposed and Mrs. Berry seconded that the minutes of the September meeting be signed as a correct record.

Matters Arising: Allotments hedge has been cut also the footpath but this needs more attention and weed killing - Chairman agreed to deal with the matter. Mrs. Cann has produced some book titles for the Joan Jenkins library in Norwich - clerk to forward suggestions to organisers. The area of broken road at the junction of Ryston/Hilgay Roads near the drain covers still needs attention - Chairman agreed to contact the County Council again.

Planning: None

Payments: Tapping House Hospice £25.00: County Grounds Maintenance £896.56. Proposed M. Grief, seconded Miss Richardson - pass for payment.

Correspondence: Tapping House Hospice request for donation. Norfolk Accident Rescue request for donation - noted. Notification from Norfolk County Council that the road between C 32 Church Road to B1160 Wereham By pass will be CLOSED FROM 15th NOVEMBER TO 10th DECEMBER 2004 for work to be carried out. Methwold High School invitation to the Annual Open Evening - 4th November 2004. Norfolk County Council - Door Step Collection: Bus Time Table: West Norfolk Borough Council Mayors Awards for Voluntary Services: Norfolk Link: Norfolk County Council Definitive Map for Public Rights of Way - Replacement Sheets - all noted.

Any Other Business: A quote has been received for the rabbit fencing along the allotment footpath another is to be obtained. All vacant allotments are to be cleaned and tidied. Miss Richardson reported that Kissing gates are being erected in the footpath No.10 and footpath No.12 is being grassed.

The November meeting will be held on THURSDAY 25th NOVEMBER 2004 and the December meeting will be held on THURSDAY 16th DECEMBER 2004.

The meeting closed at 8.50 p.m.
