What seems to be forgotten in many of these cases is the fact that EQUALITY of SEXES should be the rule. Seems to me that this only comes into effect whenever they (the Judges) think fit. Some women are not able to bring up children, and some men are unable to fulfil that role. So it should really be left up to the facts of each individual case, rather than having a predetermined outcome based on what is written down in law. Sometimes the law is an ass.

Thomas - potentially moving to the area in the new year - if all goes as planned will be willing to help out then. Do you know what timescales you are looking at? Have you had much support?

All the best,

Hi Ray, have you had much interest? I am potentially moving to the area and like the idea of community run pubs and ensuring the good olde pub can survive (vital to village life!). Is it the Blue Bell Inn? Do you know what is going to happen to the property in the square?

All the best,

Oliver

Hi,
as a member of West Norfolk CAMRA I was very interested in the article about saving the pub. We have no active members in the Stoke Ferry area, but as a group we would be willing to help in any way we can.
